England’s Captain Joe Root said on Kohli’s Mike Drop action – now the adventure of the series has come.
England captain Joe Root scored 80 runs against India in the first innings, Kohli runs out. After Root scored a century in ODI series, he dropped the bat while looking at Kohli. Virat runs out the Root in a Test match and pointed to him.
On the first day of the first Test being played in Edgbaston, Virat Kohli mimicked the Root’s ‘Mike Drop’ celebration. England’s captain Root said on Thursday, “His(Virat) such a reaction brought adventurous in series.” In fact, Root, after putting a century in the last match of the ODI series, was bowled on Kohli’s side. Virat runs out the Root on Wednesday, like Root, Kohli dropped the bat while looking at Root. At that time the Root was at the score of 80 runs.
Root said – “I did not see Kohli doing see at the time of the match. After the first day’s game ended, I saw his style. It will become a joke in the series. Series will be interesting. Let’s see how the series of five matches end.”
