Sports Desk: Former Pakistan Captain #Waqar Younis was impressed by the captaincy of Rohit Sharma in the Asia Cup. Waqar praised the way he led the team in the absence of #Virat Kohli. He said, “Rohit is very quiet. His captaincy is getting better. I saw him leading in the IPL. He allows players to make their own decisions. He is a great captain.”
Waqar said – No one can challenge Virat: In an interview given to Khaleej Times, he said, “Nobody can challenge Kohli, but I feel that without him, this team has performed well in the tournament.”
Waqar said, “On the third sequence, Virat creates a huge difference, but Rohit has done his job well without him.” He was very impressed with Team India’s openers and said that the team is very professional.
