Australia Tour: Prithvi Shaw Is Out Of The Test Series, Mayank Agarwal Will Replace Him.

Sports Desk: Due to injury, Prithvi Shaw couldn’t play the first Test and will not be played in the next two Tests in Australia. His injury has not been cured. Mayank Agarwal has been included in the team. It has been confirmed in the International Council (ICC) statement. Earlier, Team India coach Ravi Shastri expressed the hope that the earth would be fully fit till the Boxing Day Test. The third test series (Boxing Day Test) will be played in Melbourne from December 26 to 30.

Mayank could not make a place in the last-11 Test series against the West Indies: National selectors have added all-rounder Hardik Pandya to the team for the remaining two Tests. According to the statement of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI), Opener Prithvi Shaw is unable to recover from his injury. He is out of the Test series.

Mayank Agarwal was also selected in the Indian team for the home Test series against the West Indies, but then he did not get the chance of debuting. 27-year-old Mayank has been performing well in domestic cricket for a long time.

Both the openers of India have not been successful in proving themselves in the current Test series. In the third test, if the Prithvi were fit, he would play instead of Lokesh Rahul or Murali Vijay. However, after being dropped out, Mayank may now get a chance to test debut.
