After the T20I series against Zimbabwe, M S Dhoni will get long break as Team India will play their next limited overs match against New Zealand in the month of October. M S Dhoni who has been on the road since January this year will take this break to spend some precious with his family and especially with his 15 month old daughter named Ziva.

Dhoni said about this long break that, “I think after a long time, I will take some time off cricket after this series. Don’t think my daughter still recognises me. I will make my daughter feel that I am her dad and spend time with family,”. In the recent ODI series against Zimbabwe, India crushed Zimbabwe with a clean sweep. Zimbabwe had been outplayed in all three departments of the game. Dhoni said about this win, “I think the execution has been really good, and that’s the key factor. The fast bowlers and the spinners have taken wickets at some point of time and put pressure on the opposition, so I am happy with the bowling performance,”

In the 3 match ODI series against Zimbabwe, most of the batsman could not get a chance to showcase his talent. Dhoni said about this“I don’t mind winning games easily, that’s what you are supposed to do. It would have been nice if a few of the other batsmen would have got a chance,” After 3 T20Is against Zimbabwe, Indian team will go into the tour of Caribbean where they will play 4 Tests Match.
