India vs England Tour T20I Series 2018

T20I Series of India vs England tour 2018 was started from 3rd July 2018. In T20I series, India’s Jasprit Bumrah was eliminated due to the fractured left thumb and Washington Sundar was eliminated due to an ankle injury. Bumrah was replaced by Deepak Chahar and Sundar was replaced by Krunal Pandya

1st T20I:

1st T20I was on 3rd July 2018 between India and England at Old Trafford, Manchester which is Day-Night Cricket.

India won the toss and elected to field. Kuldeep Yadav took his first five-wicket haul in T20I. Virat Kohli became fastest to score 2,000 runs in terms of innings in T20Is. K. L. Rahul scored his second century. Kuldeep Yadav was the Player of the Match and India won by 8 wickets.

2nd T20I:

2nd T20I was on 6th July 2018 between India and England at Sophia Gardens, Cardiff which is Day-Night Cricket.

England won the toss and elected to field. Jake Ball made his T20I debut. MS Dhoni played in his 500th international match. Alex Hales was the Player of the Match and England won by 5 wickets.

3rd T20I:

3rd T20I was on 8th July 2018 between India and England at Bristol County Ground, Bristol which is Day-Night Cricket.

India won the toss and elected to field. Deepak Chahar made his T20I debut. MS Dhoni became the first wicket-keeper to take five catches in one innings and fifty catches overall in T20Is. Rohit Sharma became the fifth player overall, and the second Indian, to score 2,000 runs in T20Is. He also became the second batsman to score three centuries in T20Is. This was the highest successful run chase against England. Rohit Sharma was the Player of the Match and India won by 7 wickets.
