Rohit Will Not Play in New Zealand, BCCI Rested Him For Australia Tour

Rohit could not go to New Zealand due to playing in the Twenty20 series against the West Indies. He had to go later, but now he will not go to New Zealand. It has been said in the statement issued by BCCI that the medical team of the board has advised Rohit Sharma to rest.

Rohit has led the team in the T20 series against the West Indies. Earlier, he was also part of Team India in the ODI series. He also captained in the Asia Cup. For this reason, the workload had increased significantly on them.

Rohit has also been selected in the T20 and Test team against Australia. Due to this, it was decided to rest for some days before the tour of Australia. The Indian team is yet to announce the ODI series against Australia.
