Asia Cup: Afghanistan Beat Bangladesh By 136 Runs, Win All Group Matches For The First Time.

Dubai: Afghanistan defeated Bangladesh by 136 runs in the sixth group match of on Wednesday. With this victory, the Afghan team won all their (two) group matches for the first time. Afghanistan defeated Sri Lanka in the first match. In 2014, he had only won one of the four matches. This is the third win of Afghanistan in six matches over Bangladesh.

Bangladesh scored 119 runs innings: Afghanistan batted first and in 50 overs scored 255 runs on 7 wickets. After chasing the target of 256 runs, the Bangladeshi team was all out for 119 runs in 42.1 overs. Man of the match award was given to Rashid Khan.

Afghanistan scored 57 runs in the last five overs: Afghanistan batted first but did not start well. Despite Shahidi (58 runs) in the half-century, seven wickets fell on 160 runs till 41st over. Rashid and Naib then took charge of the inning. Together, they made 57 runs in the last five overs.

Rashid-Naib’s half-century partnership: Ninth-ranked batsman Rashid hit eight boundaries and a six in 32 balls, while Naib hit five boundaries in 38 balls. Rashid scored 57 runs and Naib 42 runs with not out. Both shared a 95 run partnership for the eighth wicket.

Shakib took four wickets: Left-arm Spinner of Bangladesh took four wickets for 42 runs in 10 overs.  At the same time, fast bowler Abu Haider grabbed 2 wickets for 50 runs in 9 overs.

Bad start of Bangladesh: The Bangladeshi team came to chase the target and the start was not well. Two wickets fell for 28 runs. On the score of 43 runs Mominul and on 79 runs Mithun returned to the pavilion. Shakib took 4 wickets in bowling and also batted well. He scored 32 runs. After being dismissed, none of the batsmen could stay on the crease for long and the entire team was reduced to 119 runs in 42.1 overs.
