Melbourne: The third match of the four-test series between India and Australia will be played in Melbourne on Wednesday. On Tuesday before the Test, Indian captain #Virat Kohli asked for better performance of fellow batsmen. He said, “The bowlers cannot do everything, we will not get help from the runs we are making, we have to bat better and make runs, everyone knows that our bowlers have performed well. It is necessary that we support them.”
Need to make a progression in the opposition in the first innings: Kohli said, “If we do not get bat first, then the runs created by the opposition will have to be followed, at least we will have to reach. After the big scores are leveled, the match remains only for the second innings.”
Kohli, who scored a century in the Perth Test, said, “The batsmen have to bat well together. I do not tell anyone whether to run or not, but as a team, we have to do better.”
