Cricketer banned for life due to fight in Bermuda Super League matchIn a club level  domestic match played in Bermuda an unprecedented level of aggression was witnessed.  The match being played between Willow cuts cricket club and Cleveland Cricket Club made history, when a small verbal altercation between the wicket keeper of Cleveland club and National A side player Jason Anderson and Willow Cut club batsman George O’brien turned in to heated exchange that in turn lead to a ugly physical tussle in between the overs. After the over finished, Suddenly Anderson attacked O’brien and Fierce fight happened in middle of the pitch.

All the other players intervened and tried to stop the fight. The fight became so ugly that the local police had to come to the rescue of the match and intervene.

Andersen was banned for life from playing cricket and O’brien was banned from all forms of cricket for six months.
