It’s time for some exciting cricket now as the top 8 teams of the world take part in the “ICC Champions Trophy 2013” to be played in England. The tournament starts on 6th June with the finals being played on 23rd June. The tournament promises to provide 18 days of pure cricketing fun.
The teams are divided into 2 pools. India, Pakistan, South Africa and West Indies are in the same pool. The other pool consists of Australia, England, South Africa and Sri Lanka. India plays South Africa on 6th June at Cardiff, Wales in the series opener. India takes on Pakistan on 15th June which is expected to ignite the old rivalry between the arch-rivals. Given the current form of the teams and the fast pace of the tournament there is no clear favorite, but the home conditions will definitely boost England.
