Pakistan's fast bowlers

After recently concluded ODI series against Sri Lanka team Pakistan secured 8th rank in ICC ODI rankings after winning the series by a margin of 3-2. Just before the start of the series when Pakistan’s chances to play ICC champions Trophy 2017 were gloomy; PCB was in discussion with Zimbabwean board for a Tri Series which will include West Indies as a third participant. This series will Help Pakistan to have one more go at a champions Trophy spot even if they lose series against Sri Lanka.

Just after winning series PCB scrapped all the plans of tri series & now they will play ODI’s in Zimbabwe after qualification cutoff date of 30thSeptember 2015. This step of PCB is not commendable it can result in losing their integrity among the other cricket boards. PCB was trying to use West Indies to enhance their chances of participation in champion’s trophy 2017.

In other aspect PCB is still not sure of his team’s ability that they can beat lowly ranked teams like Zimbabwe & West Indies. Team Pakistan has played some outstanding cricket & given resounding individual performances during the recent series & has made fans to believe that team Pakistan is on upward thrust.

With so many young players in side PCB should avail every chance of playing cricket so that players get experience. They learn how to cope pressure at big games where they must need to win to keep their chances alive in proceeding or qualify for big events.

PCB’s approach in this regard had led down many fans in Pakistan & created lots of doubt that even if we qualify for the Champions Trophy 2017; will we be able to battle it out against the titans of the game.
