I WILL HIT 6 SIXES AGAIN – YUVRAJ SINGH
The Prince Of Indian Cricket YUVRAJ SINGH who was in full flow on Sunday evening (scored a 24-ball 42) against his home town team Kings XI Punjab in his home town Mohali which make sure that Sunrisers Hyderabad enters into the play-offs without any fuss.
After the match Yuvraj met a group of children and spent some time with them at the PCA stadium. During the interaction a 17-year young kid who defeated cancer asked Yuvi if he will again hit those 6 sixes, to which the southpaw (who himself is a cancer survivor) replied “You pray for me and I will hit 6 sixes again”
However, YUVI himself doesn’t know how he hit those 6 sixes, 9 years have passed since the mayhem at Durban but those 6 sixes is still count among one of the most cherished moment in the history of Indian Cricket.
Yuvraj Singh on and off the field has been a great source of inspiration for millions all round the world and there was no surprise to see that these kids also idolizes YUVI. One of the cancer survivor boy, aged 8 now, had been diagnosed with cancer when he was just 18 months old. Studying in Class 4 now, the boy said that players like Yuvraj are a great inspiration for him. ”I love cricket and seeing Yuvi in action gives me immense joy.”
Yuvraj also shared some light moments with the kids, gave them some valuable tips. Yuvi said “Disease like Cancer teaches you not to take life for granted, think of it as a blessing in disguise that you have an opportunity to live again.”
