PLAYING UNDER MS DHONI IS LIKE DEALING WITH A FRIEND SAYS CHAHAL

 

The Haryana born leggie YUZVENDRA CHAHAL having made his debut against Zimbabwe under MS Dhoni, has revealed that playing under MS Dhoni was like dealing with a friend. Chahal also mentioned that Dhoni takes away the pressure and makes everyone comfortable on and off the field and also described him as a very ‘simple’ person.

 

Talking to Indian Express, the leg spinner said, “Before I met him (Dhoni), there was a fear about how he will be. But he’s really simple. You can ask him anything. Even on the ground I never felt like he was a captain. I felt like dealing with a friend.”

 

CHAHAL has impressed everyone in this series with his bowling. In the 2 ODIs that he has played so far in this series, has taken 4 wickets and is quite economical too. In the second ODI it was his spell (6-2-25-3) in the middle overs that made all the difference, he was the one who broke the 67 runs partnership between CHIBHABA and SIKANDAR RAZA. Later on he was adjudged Man of the Match for his brilliant spell.
