
Pakistan Cricket Board will be granting central contracts to at least 30 players after the completion of England tour. Pakistan tour of England will start from July 14 with the first Test to be played at Lord’s and will conclude on September 7 with the Twenty-20 Internationals at Old Trafford, Manchester.
According to a PCB spokesperson, the central contracts are due to expire on June 30 and the Board will be awarding new contracts to players for six month period (July 1 to December 31, 2016) with 10 to 15% raise.
Performance of the Pakistani players on the tour of England will also be examined and as per the performance on the tour, the contracts will be given.
This series will be the first assignment for new head coach Mickey Arthur and it will also see the return of Mohammad Amir in Test Cricket after the infamous spot-fixing scandal in 2010.
Pakistan Cricket Team is scheduled to play 4 Tests, 5 ODIs and a Twenty20 in the tour of England.
