India’s star batsman Virat Kohli is a big time Football aficionado and a self-confessed Germany fan as he had previously acknowledged it on twitter and also had expressed his support for the team in the ongoing Euro 2016. Kohli few weeks back posted a picture of him, donning the Germany jersey and conveyed the message that he is all in for Germany. The jersey which Kohli donned had the number 18 printed on it, which also happens to be German mid-fielder Toni Kroos’s number. Following Kohli’s support for Germany, Toni Kroos had promised to return the favour by sending him a gift soon.
Excited for #Euro16

True to his words, Kroos, despite being going through the hectic Euro 2016 campaign, took some time off from his busy schedule and kept his promise by sending Kohli a signed jersey.
Kohli took to his twitter handle to thank Kroos for the gift and wished luck to Kroos and Germany for the quarters. Kohli also promised a return gift to Kroos.
Virat Kohli (imVkohli) tweeted:
Thank You @ToniKroos
Sending a present for you as well. All The Best for the quarters ? #FirstNeverFollows #Euro16 pic.twitter.com/DPcY3sYpFn— Virat Kohli (@imVkohli) June 27, 2016
Germany will now lock horns with Italy in the quarter-final on Sunday and Kroos will have a huge role to play. Kohli, on the other hand, is preparing for his next assignment, which will be to lead the Indian side for the four-match Test series in West Indies starting from July 21.
