After 3 ODIs in the series with 3 different results, England will be looking forward to seal the series in the fourth ODI against Sri Lanka at the Kia Oval, London. On the other hand, Sri Lanka will try  to stay alive in the series by winning fourth ODI. After suffering 2-0 loss in the Test Series against England, Sri Lanka thrashed Ireland in the shorter format of the game. After winning ODI series against Ireland, Sri Lanka were expected to put up a tough competition to the well balanced England side in the ODI series, but they couldn’t win a single match till now in the series. After 3 match, Sri Lanka found themselves 1-0 down.

On the other side, England will confirm ODI series for them by winning this match. England Team looks very balanced as Alex Hales and Jason Roy getting runs in the top order. Apart from first ODI, middle order has not been tested much while the bowling has been disciplined. Morgan is doing a great job as a captain and that’s  exactly what the hosts will need at the Kia, Oval to clinch the series.

Sri Lanka, on the other hand have struggled against England bowlers. Their top orders have been failed as Kushal Perera and Danushka Gunathilaka did not contribute much as an opener for Sri Lanka. Most of the batsman didn’t convert their start to a big total by virtue of which Sri Lanka never looked comfortable with the bat and could not post a big total on the board against mighty England batting. In the bowling department, Sri Lankan bowlers were below average. In the second ODI, defending 255 odd runs, Sri Lankan bowler could not manage to take a single wicket, eventually England had won that match by 10 wickets. Both the openers got easy hundreds. Sri Lanka will definitely have to lift their performance if they have to stay alive in the series.
