Along with the announcement, it was also decided that Prithvi Shaw will make his debut in the Test. Tomorrow if India gets a chance to bat then he can be seen in the opening with KL Rahul.

Hanuma Vihari, who scored 56 runs in the Oval Test against England, could not make it to the team. Mayank Agarwal also could not make it. He played an innings of 90 runs in the practice match between the Board of Control of in India and the West Indies. While playing for domestic cricket and India A, Mayank’s performance has been good too.

Prithvi did not get the opportunity to tour England: Prithvi Shaw was included in the last 12. He was also selected in one Test of series in England, but then the 18-year-old player could not make it to the last 11.

Virat said – Prithvi, do not take pressure: Virat Kohli said at the press conference, “There is only the top order, where the experiment is needed. Prithvi should take this as an opportunity, not as pressure.” Prithvi scored seven centuries and five half-centuries in first-class cricket.

Prithvi made a century in Ranji and Duleep Trophy debut match: Prithvi debuted in Ranji Trophy in November 2016. Then he scored a century in that match. Nearly a year later, when he was debuting in the Duleep Trophy, he scored a century. He is the youngest cricketer to score a century in the Duleep Trophy Debut.

India can land with five bowlers: With not being selected in the last 12 of Mayank, it has become clear that Team India will go with five specialist bowlers in the first Test. In such a situation, Shardul Thakur may have to sit out. Rishabh Pant will play the role of wicketkeeper. He can come to bat at number six.

India can go with three specialist spinners Ravichandran Ashwin, Ravindra Jadeja, and Kuldeep Yadav while Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav will take charge of fast bowling. In the absence of the all-rounder Hardik Pandya, Jadeja is capable of giving good support to the bat in the lower order.
